About Rogues Lane Wines

The Rogues Lane vineyard is situated on Wild Duck Creek at the southern end of Victoria’s Heathcote wine region.

The vineyard, of approximately 10 acres, is planted to Shiraz and some Malbec. The wines of the 2004 vintage are robust, powerful wines with intense, rich flavours.

2004 was a drought year, however this presented no problems as the vines were cropped very low – to about one tonne per acre. The richness and alcohol of these two wines is enhanced by the use of new American oak.
